As a geography major, I’ve done extensive research on alternative energy. I have a new idea called "rain power." I think we should instill rooftop generators incorporated into rainwater collection. Rain falls diagonally rather than straight. Therefore, the terminal velocity from the raindrops could spin these turbines and generate electricity. Monsoon Season in Asia would be fantastic for producing it. The same is true regarding hurricane season in the Gulf Coast and rainy season in the Pacific Northwest. What do you think? Do we have the brain power to harness rain power?

i am considering majoring in chemical engineering, environmental sciences… or maybe agriculture. i’m not really sure.

I think we should invest more money for alternative forms of energy, but his plan cannot be justified with today’s gas prices. His plan suggests that developing alternative energy is as urgent as developing the atomic bomb was to end World War II.
